Your Impact as a UAT Consultant at UN Women:
As a UAT Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role. Consequently, you will translate business needs into robust testing strategies. To clarify, you’ll develop comprehensive UAT plans. Moreover, you’ll also create detailed test cases, execute tests, and meticulously document results. Ultimately, your expertise in identifying and tracking defects will be crucial. Remote User Acceptance Tester Consultant
Key Responsibilities for a UAT Consultant:
- First and foremost, translate complex business requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Following that, develop and implement comprehensive UAT test plans, scopes, and strategies.
- In addition, create and review detailed UAT test cases and scripts. Be sure they reflect real-world scenarios.
- Subsequently, execute UAT test cases. Then, meticulously document results and manage defect tracking efficiently.
- Finally, compile and present comprehensive UAT summary reports to management.
Essential Qualifications for a UAT Consultant:
- A Master’s degree (or a Bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience) is required. Fields include Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Software Engineering, or a related area.
- You need a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in UAT, Software Quality Assurance, or System Analysis.
- Crucially, proven experience in writing and executing UAT test cases/scenarios is essential. You also need experience documenting the UAT process (at least two separate assignments for each).
- Furthermore, a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is crucial.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are highly valued.
- Additionally, familiarity with Results-Based Management (RBM) and gender issues in international development is a strong asset.
- Of course, fluency in English is required.
