Key Responsibilities: Navigating the Talent Acquisition Lifecycle

Primary responsibilities for a Senior Associate Talent Acquisition professional include:

  • Performing all activities within the recruitment lifecycle. This encompasses but does not limit to creating or updating position descriptions, developing and posting requisitions, screening CVs, conducting phone screens and panel interviews, and formulating interview questions. Additionally, you gather reference and salary verification documents, finally issuing employment offers.

  • Ensuring the recruitment process fully complies with fundamental Human Resource (HR) principles. Specifically, this includes adherence to Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Program (OFCCP) regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer/client service. Indeed, this requires critical thinking to fill hard-to-fill positions, staying informed about best practices, processes, and compliance, and understanding when to escalate issues to your supervisor or department director. Consequently, you maintain high standards of recruitment service.
  • Liaising with other HR departments to ensure continuity of corporate policies and practices.
  • Onboarding candidates via the applicant tracking system (ATS). Furthermore, this involves collecting new hire documents and conducting background checks.

Strategic Outreach and Continuous Talent Acquisition Improvement

  • Updating international job postings and SharePoint folders as needed. Similarly, you facilitate meetings with clients and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience for Senior Associate Talent Acquisition

  • Education: A minimum of an associate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience, proves necessary; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field remains preferred.
  • Experience: Candidates need a minimum of 2 years of recruitment or relevant experience; HR-specific experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with ATS or HR systems remains preferred; Taleo experience offers a significant advantage.

Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
