US Emergencies Fellow | Save the Children (Remote)

This is a remote role for candidates based in the United States.
The Role
As a Fellow, you’ll provide crucial support to the US Emergency Response Team. Therefore, you’ll primarily focus on knowledge management and operational processes, helping the team create and enact new standard operating procedures. This role is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in humanitarian and domestic emergency response. The fellowship runs from September 8, 2025, to December 12, 2025.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Knowledge Management: You will help draft key documents, update internal platforms like SharePoint, and provide updated information to colleagues across the organization.
- Reporting & Support: You will assist with drafting report narratives for donors and support requests from our Partnerships & Philanthropy department.
- Professional Development: You’ll have an opportunity to learn about domestic emergency response and gain insights into humanitarian tools used both domestically and internationally.

Required Qualifications for US Emergencies Fellow
- You must have a demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams, both internally and externally.
- You need a commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. In addition, an interest and experience in the humanitarian sector and/or child protection is necessary.
- Finally, you must be professionally proficient in spoken and written English.
