About the IMO & The Role for Remote Consultant

The IMO regularly hires consultants to support its technical cooperation projects. To ensure these processes are transparent and efficient, the organization needs to overhaul its existing framework. For this reason, the hired consultant will assess current practices, benchmark against other UN agencies, and develop a new, comprehensive policy for consultant engagement. This work will, consequently, lead to a more robust, accountable, and transparent system for identifying, selecting, and remunerating consultants.

This is a crucial opportunity to contribute to improving the effectiveness of IMO’s consultant hiring process. It requires proficiency in written and oral English and strong analytical skills.
