Control Risks is inviting speculative applications for Intelligence and GSOC Analyst roles in the NYC market. This is an opportunity to join our talent pool for future embedded consulting positions. About the Role


Control Risks is experiencing demanding growth across its embedded programs. Consequently, we are seeking to build our database of consultants to deliver high-quality reporting and analysis. This role involves a wide range of expertise, allowing our consultants to support clients in operating successfully.

What You’ll Do


  • Conduct Research and Analysis: You will gather and evaluate information from various sources to predict and prevent security risks and organized crime activities.
  • Perform Security Audits: You will conduct both internal and external security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis. In addition, you will analyze and identify security breaches, continuously updating company incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Write Reports: You will compile concise and accurate reports, using the appropriate language for the audience.
  • Work with Clients: You will maintain a strong client focus and build and maintain professional relationships.

What You’ll Need


  • Education: A minimum bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, or a related field. However, a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience & Skills: You must possess broad geopolitical knowledge and global awareness of influences on business goals and strategies. Furthermore, you need to interpret high volumes of data from multiple sources. You must also demonstrate resilience and perseverance under pressure in emergency response situations.
  • Behavioral Skills: You will need to be a team player who works professionally with colleagues and stakeholders. Similarly, you must have an excellent understanding of client confidentiality and cultural awareness to work with a global team.

Compensation & Logistics for Intelligence Analyst


The salary for our speculative roles based in NYC ranges from $70,000 to $100,000. Exact compensation may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Moreover, Control Risks is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse environment.
