The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) seeks a Change Manager to guide its planned change initiatives. This is a key remote position for an expert who can facilitate a structured change management methodology and minimize disruption during periods of organizational change. The Change Manager plays a central role in coordinating and administering the change management process.

About the Role


As the Change Manager, you will provide expertise and support to help the organization successfully transition through new projects. Specifically, you will develop communication and learning materials, create engagement strategies, and oversee adoption management. You will directly support the Fund’s change management approach and help ensure smooth transitions for all stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to apply your organizational change management skills within a critical United Nations body.

Key Responsibilities


The Change Manager’s responsibilities focus on the entire change lifecycle. For instance, you will:

  • Communications: Prepare project information, create communication plans, and ensure messaging aligns across various audiences.
  • Learning: Develop key learning materials and modules, as well as compile FAQs and liaise with internal teams to define dispersal platforms.
  • Evaluation & Analysis: Evaluate change requests, create project timelines, and gather information from stakeholders. Additionally, you will support the development of change management surveys, analyze outputs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all change activities and ensure all project documentation is complete, including decisions and implementation impacts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Change Management Team to conduct post-implementation reviews, document lessons learned, and support the implementation of improvement actions.

 

Qualifications for UNJSPF Change Manager


  • Education: You must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: You must have at least 5 years of experience in a change, learning, or communications role within projects.
  • Skills: You must have a holistic knowledge of the Change Management process and its best practices. Furthermore, the organization desires experience developing learning modules, knowledge of graphic design, and a Prosci certification. Experience working in a multicultural environment is also a plus.
  • Languages: You must have fluency in oral and written English. Knowledge of another official United Nations language, such as French, is an advantage.

 

Compensation & Logistics


This is a remote position based out of the UNJSPF office in New York. The expected duration for the role is 12 months.
