Manager, Sustained Giving

What You’ll Do: Driving Sustained Giving for UNHCR

• Lead the charge: Own our sustained giving strategy. Accordingly, work hand-in-hand with our direct response team. Your aim, thus, will be to grow and retain recurring donors and revenue. This is central to your role as Sustained Giving Manager.
• Innovate and expand: Develop cutting-edge strategies. Acquire new monthly donors. Utilize digital, in-person (F2F), and telemarketing channels. Ultimately, this broadens our reach and impact significantly. Moreover, you’ll continuously explore new avenues for recurring giving.
• Cultivate connection: Design personalized donor journeys. Build lasting relationships. Foster a deep sense of belonging. In essence, you’ll consistently strengthen donor loyalty. Beyond that, you’ll ensure donors feel valued for their ongoing support.

Who You Are: The Ideal Sustained Giving Professional

You’re a data-driven, donor-centric leader. You possess a proven track record in fundraising, direct marketing, or donor relations. Crucially, you have at least 2 years focused specifically on sustained giving or donor retention. Your total professional experience, furthermore, should be 6-8 years. Beyond that, you are adept at building meaningful, long-term donor relationships. You also consistently ensure a sustainable revenue stream.

Your Toolkit for Effective Sustained Giving:

• Proven success managing donor programs. This includes acquiring, retaining, and upgrading recurring donors.
• Strong analytical skills. You can readily translate insights into actionable fundraising strategies. Moreover, you understand performance metrics for sustained giving.
• Extensive experience with donor management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Engaging Networks). Consequently, you’ll hit the ground running.

Compensation & Location

This is a hybrid role based in Washington, D.C. The salary ranges from $86,106 – $103,328. Travel may also be involved.
