About This Technology Trainee Role: What You’ll Do

As a Technology Trainee, you’ll:

  • Support cutting-edge research on U.S. and E.U. technology policies, digital governance, and emerging tech trends.
  • Assist with data compilation, analysis, and report preparation for the GMF Tech team.
  • Additionally, you’ll contribute to the logistical and administrative coordination of events, workshops, and publications, furthering your experience in a digital governance internship.
  • Collaborate with leading experts and policy analysts in the transatlantic technology space.
  • Ultimately, you’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience in a renowned public policy think tank as a global technology analyst in training.

Qualifications for Our Tech Policy Internship

We prefer candidates currently enrolled in or recent graduates of an undergraduate or graduate program, ideally in international relations, political science, public policy, computer science, or a related field relevant to a cybersecurity trainee role.

  • You should possess strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are also required.
  • Furthermore, we highly value a demonstrated interest in technology policy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, or transatlantic relations.
  • You must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Finally, you need the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
