Senior Manager Donor Engagement (Remote)

Are you a strategic and collaborative fundraiser with a passion for global gender justice? The Global Fund for Women is seeking a Senior Manager Donor Engagement to join our team. To clarify this is a remote position. You will be crucial in developing and managing meaningful in-person and virtual experiences for our most committed individual donors and prospects. As a result your work will directly strengthen our funding base and in turn advance our mission to support gender justice movements worldwide.
The Role: Senior Manager Donor Engagement Remote
You will report directly to the Senior Director of Individual Philanthropy. As a key member of the Individual Philanthropy team you will therefore create values-aligned and impactful donor experiences.
Key Responsibilities for this remote donor engagement role include:
- Champion Program Management: You will manage and coordinate our principal-level giving program Champions for Equality. In this capacity you will collaborate with the planning team to develop donor programs engagements and curated learning journeys. In addition you will lead the coordination of in-person retreats virtual learning opportunities and international donor visits.
- Virtual Event Leadership: You will lead an internal cross-functional group. This team will consequently develop and implement our quarterly virtual Donor Townhall series as well as other virtual events to maximize donor engagement.
- Donor Trip Strategy: You will collaborate with organizational leadership trip advisory committees and external partners to develop and support strategic international donor trip experiences. Specifically this role includes leading the planning and logistics for trips where donors engage with grantee partners. Therefore you will help build a first-in-class trust-based model of donor learning.
- Bespoke Donor Support: You will partner with the Individual Philanthropy Team to support a range of custom donor engagements. This work includes supporting giving circles and event strategy as well as program development and logistics. This consequently helps to maximize donor engagement.
Skills for a Successful Donor Engagement Manager
The ideal candidate for this remote donor engagement role is highly organized proactive and collaborative. A deep commitment to international gender justice and feminist values is also essential of course.
Key Skills:
- Experience: We require a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience. This includes building individual donor programs managing international donor trips and leading various events. Proven success in engaging donors through strategic experiences is therefore essential for this Donor Relations Senior Manager position.
- Leadership: You must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively with organizational leadership principal and major donors and frontline fundraisers. This helps create impactful engagement.
- Logistics: Likewise hands-on experience with leading and managing the logistics for donor programming and trips is necessary especially for those with grassroots organizations.
- Communication: You should be highly organized and detail-oriented. Furthermore you must be able to produce clear accurate information under tight deadlines. Effective communication across diverse teams and audiences is also required.

Compensation and Commitment to Equity
The salary for this position ranges from $98000 to $152000. This range reflects a high-market geo. The salary will however be adjusted based on the candidate’s city and state of residence to ensure internal equity.
