The Role for Senior Communications Specialist

As the Senior Communications Specialist, the incumbent will lead all scaled external communications across the Americas. This communications expert will notably grow the profile of both WRAP and its issue areas within the USA and the broader Americas region. This growth, moreover, aims to attract crucial funding and foster robust collaboration among businesses, trusts & foundations, multilateral organizations, and government entities. The role also involves raising the organization’s profile across all aspects of circularity. Particularly, a strong focus rests on food waste prevention. As an integral part of both the Global Communications team and the Americas team, the Senior Communications Specialist will:

  • Develop and execute the WRAP Americas communication plan.
  • Create compelling, audience-focused communications. This includes content for websites, social media, email, press relations, events, and more.
  • Build relationships to identify and secure extensive PR and speaking opportunities throughout the American region.
  • Manage Americas website and social media content.
