Your Role: A Day in the Life as a Regional Service Manager CRM
This Regional Service Manager CRM position operates within the Mountain West region, covering CO, UT, TX, and OK. Here, a key responsibility involves collaborating with essential partners to coordinate and execute service strategies. This, in turn, ensures the achievement of short- and long-term business objectives related to service activities and programs. Moreover, the role drives the execution of key CRM service initiatives to meet Regional-level goals.
Beyond that, a primary focus includes maximizing regional personnel performance. This specifically involves managing, developing, and motivating service employees to deliver unsurpassed patient care, physician/AHP service, and technical expertise within hospitals, clinics, and other care settings. Crucially, you will partner closely with sales teams to achieve implant, revenue, inventory, and expense goals for the entire Region.
Leading Service Excellence as a CRM Service Manager
As a Regional Service Manager CRM, you will lead all CRM service-related activities and programs. By doing so, this ensures efficient resource optimization, delivers outstanding customer value, and provides exceptional service. Furthermore, you will partner with the sales team to drive critical service initiatives and offer service assessments through regular business reviews and RFPs. Ultimately, these assessments highlight the unique value of Medtronic’s service to its customers. Moreover, the role also leads and drives changes focused on service optimization, transformation, and the development of new service models. As a direct result, you will collaborate with the sales team and other key stakeholders to coordinate and execute strategies that meet service-related business objectives while supporting the achievement of implant and revenue goals. Finally, you will also work with regional and district leadership to align resources based on business priorities and appropriate service demands.
Driving Technical Leadership for Service Managers
This position leads the CRM Technical Field Engineer regional team and strategy. In this capacity, you will ensure Technical Field Engineers (TFEs) operate effectively to support business priorities. Specifically, this includes procedural launches, complex training, strategic business planning with leadership, along with oversight of successful new hire training.
People Management & Development for CRM Service Teams
A core part of this role involves leading regional District Service Managers (DSMs) to execute key goals and objectives. To elaborate, you will provide ongoing feedback and coaching to direct reports, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Furthermore, you will assist employees with individual development planning. Crucially, you are responsible for DSM and TFE staffing, continuously working to maintain a strong, diverse bench of TFE and DSM talent for future hiring opportunities and supporting the regional Clinical Specialist bench.
Optimizing Business Operations for Service Delivery Management
You will partner with internal field inventory managers to develop a regional strategy for optimized inventory performance. For instance, this includes, but is not limited to, managing short-dated, expired, stagnant, and critical inventory positioning, as well as conducting cycle counts. Ultimately, you will ensure the efficient and effective use of expenses, inventory, and assets within your regional team.
Qualifications for This Regional Service Manager CRM Role
To be considered for this Regional Service Manager CRM position, the following basic qualifications must be evident on your resume:
- A BA/BS degree in engineering, life sciences, healthcare, nursing, exercise physiology, or business.
- 5 years of successful professional experience.
- 3 years of experience directly managing employees in a healthcare organization.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Experience in a healthcare-related discipline.
- Ability to learn and understand the technical aspects of the business.
- Ability to manage, coach, and develop both managers and employees.
- Capable of critical/strategic thinking; ability to execute strategy.
- Medtronic experience in a role that interacts with the CVG field organization.
- Knowledge of the local cardiac customer base.
- Knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm Management service coverage requirements for implants and follow-ups.
- Experience in sales, marketing, training, healthcare, technical services, or related areas in the medical device industry.

Regarding compensation, salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD) are: USA: $145,000 – $165,000
Please note, the base salary range applies across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Furthermore, the offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
Beyond the base salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
