Overview: Your Role as a Fundraising Specialist

United Mission Relief and Development (UMR) actively seeks a dedicated, innovative Marketing and Fundraising Specialist. This crucial role is truly vital for raising grant funding. It also explores new funding channels for our global humanitarian and development programs. The ideal fundraising specialist will, in fact, leverage program data. Key Responsibilities for a Marketing and Fundraising Expert

First and foremost, you will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and fundraising strategy. This aims to secure grant funding from various sources. These include governmental bodies, private foundations, and international donors. Subsequently, you will analyze in-country program data. This identifies funding needs and opportunities. Then, you will craft compelling proposals and reports aligned with donor priorities as a skilled grant funding expert.

Next, you will establish and maintain relationships with a network of NGOs, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders. This, consequently, enhances collaboration and program support. Moreover, you will innovate and explore new funding channels. These include digital campaigns, crowdfunding, and social media. This will, therefore, increase visibility and donor engagement.
