Your Role as Donor Engagement Manager UNHCR
As the Donor Engagement Manager UNHCR, you will play a central role in designing and executing audience-centered engagement strategies. You’ll focus on building deep connections with specific donor segments—such as women’s groups, faith-based communities, and emergency relief supporters—to strengthen affinity and maximize support for our mission.

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead Data-Driven Engagement Strategies

Use donor behavior data to develop tailored acquisition, retention, and re-engagement tactics

Respond strategically to diverse motivations across segments
Develop Innovative Campaigns

Create unique fundraising initiatives and personalized journeys

Improve loyalty, retention, and revenue through storytelling and targeted outreach
Analyze Donor Trends and Insights

Monitor campaign performance and donor behavior

Refine strategies based on data to maximize impact
Create Compelling Communications

Produce messaging, templates, talking points, and donor collateral

Align content with segment needs and organizational goals
Deliver Responsive Fundraising Materials

Develop high-quality, on-demand materials such as presentations, emails, and proposals under tight timelines

Maintain a strategic engagement calendar to coordinate across teams
What You Bring to the Donor Engagement Manager UNHCR Role
Experience and Education

6–8 years in donor engagement, fundraising communications, or marketing
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred—or a strong, proven track record in the field
Fundraising Expertise

Knowledge of donor segmentation, multi-channel engagement, and stewardship

Familiarity with refugee issues, global affairs, and affinity-based fundraising
Technical and Communication Skills

Proficient in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office

Strong writing, copyediting, and storytelling abilities with attention to detail
Project Management and Analysis

Ability to turn data into strategies and narratives

Skilled at juggling multiple projects and managing deadlines
