Ultimately, and perhaps most importantly, this position positions Equality Now as a preferred partner for corporations committed to advancing gender equality on a global scale. Your work will directly involve significant corporate fundraising.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):

    • Translate organizational objectives into compelling partnership opportunities that strongly resonate with corporate priorities.
    • Identify emerging trends in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and brand engagement, in order to consistently inform innovative cultivation and stewardship approaches. Your role as a Philanthropy Manager will be key here.

  • Engage & Advocate:
    • Build and nurture a robust portfolio of 50+ corporate partners and prospects with significant giving potential. This forms a core part of your Business Development (Nonprofit) responsibilities.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with programs, communications, and leadership, so as to expertly deliver tailored partner experiences.
    • Support Equality Now’s leadership and board members in high-level corporate cultivation efforts, providing guidance as needed.
    • Foster long-term, trusted relationships with external stakeholders, thereby ensuring sustained collaboration.
  • Deliver & Manage:
    • Lead the full lifecycle of corporate engagement initiatives: design, pitch, close, deliver, and renew. This makes you a critical Partnerships Director.
    • Prepare compelling sponsorship requests, grant proposals, donor reports, and presentations, all while ensuring brand consistency.
    • Oversee all aspects of corporate sponsorships for our annual gala, including benefit fulfillment and relationship management.
    • Execute partnership activations and engagement events with precision and professionalism, consequently ensuring positive outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate donor interaction and pipeline data in Raiser’s Edge and Monday.com, thus facilitating timely reporting.
    • Contribute to annual development planning, budgeting, and evaluation, further enhancing team effectiveness.
