About the Associate Consultant, Healthcare Role


As an Associate Consultant Healthcare, you will serve as a client advocate and a key participant in the client’s FiscalNote experience. You will proactively anticipate client needs and deliver data-driven insights to help them understand how policy and regulation will develop. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is passionate about healthcare policy and its intersection with technology.

Key Responsibilities for a Healthcare Policy Consultant


  • Client Advocacy: Act as the primary client advocate, delivering professional communication and analysis to various stakeholders.
  • Policy Analysis: Analyze and synthesize legislation at the federal, state, and local levels to produce compelling thought leadership.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met with high attention to detail.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data to understand, interpret, and visualize research for clients.
  • Product Development: Contribute to the development of new technical and professional services products.

 

Qualifications for an Associate Consultant

 


  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in research, government, or consulting, with a focus on healthcare policy.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Government, Economics, Public Health, or a related subject.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with external stakeholders and clients.
  • Research & Analysis: Proven ability to conduct independent research and analyze data to convey concise, targeted insights.
  • Passion: A strong interest in the intersection of politics, policy, and technology.
