About the Role: Drive Impact as an Account Executive, Strategic NGO

We’re looking for you to join us as a dynamic, high-performing Account Executive, Strategic NGO. You should have proven experience selling enterprise tech. Furthermore, you must quickly grow a high-value pipeline based on impact and the strong relationships you build. The best candidates love the thrill of the hunt. Moreover, they take a consultative approach to sales, make deep discoveries with their prospects, and consistently excel when selling to C-level executives. This pivotal role will, by all means, report directly to the Director, Enterprise and Strategic Accounts. As an Account Executive, Strategic NGO, your work directly empowers vital non-profit missions.


Key Responsibilities: Cultivating High-Value Partnerships in NGO Sales

Your core responsibilities as an Account Executive, Strategic NGO will include:

  • Strategic Account Focus: First and foremost, you will focus on a pre-defined list of strategic accounts, particularly NGOs.
  • New Customer Acquisition: Next, you’ll acquire new customers by evangelizing and educating prospective customers on the immense value and impact of Fundraise Up’s solutions, directly contributing to their non-profit sales success.
  • Pipeline Management: Beyond that, you will methodically qualify, build, and manage a high-value sales pipeline for NGOs.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Importantly, you’ll manage all stages of the sales cycle, including actively participating in RFPs from prospective customers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Additionally, you will act cross-functionally with Marketing and Partnerships to uncover new lead sources for NGO sales.
  • Expert Presentations: Likewise, you’ll skillfully deliver web-based (Zoom) and in-person presentations, leveraging strong product knowledge and sales best practices for non-profit clients.
  • Executive Sales: Furthermore, you’ll master selling to VP & C-Suite executives and expertly navigate buying groups that will include multiple decision-makers in complex organizations to secure crucial buy-in.
  • Team Leadership: Moreover, you’ll work closely with a team of dedicated BDRs to provide strategic direction and feedback for NGO sales initiatives.
  • Achieve & Exceed Goals: Finally, you’ll crush your sales goals… and be exceptionally well-compensated for doing so as an Account Executive, Strategic NGO.

 

Skills & Qualifications: What You Bring to NGO Enterprise Sales

  • Experience: Possess 7+ years of experience in B2B/Enterprise tech sales. While not strictly required, experience with strategic sales to global NGOs is a significant plus. You should also have experience selling 6-figure+ deals to global organizations.
  • Performance: Demonstrate consistent excellence in exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators in non-profit sales.
  • Adaptability: Love working in a constantly changing and evolving work environment.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Proven experience managing a complex sales cycle that can range 9 months or more.
  • Account Planning: Exhibit the ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple teams across complex organizations, particularly relevant for NGOs.
  • Presentation & Negotiation: Possess strong presentation skills with multiple stakeholders. You must also demonstrate proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving commercial agreements.
  • Communication: Naturally, you will possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work Ethic: “Gritty, hard-working, persistent” are adjectives that truly describe you.
  • Methodology: Familiarity with the MEDDIC methodology and framework is highly preferred for this enterprise NGO role.
